Dan McCurdy is one of the UK’s most experienced radio writers and producers with over 25 years in the commercial radio industry behind him.

1979 after studying at James Watt College, Greenock and Napier University, Edinburgh he graduated with a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing with credit.

1979 to 1981 Dan started in radio at Radio Forth in Edinburgh behind the mixing desk as a sound engineer, mixing and recording bands, programmes, and commercials. 

1981 to 1993 Radio Aire Leeds

For over 20 years he was ‘ Head Of Creative, ‘ at 2 of the country’s BIG CITY stations, continually developing both Creative Departments, first in Leeds then back in Glasgow and working with all the major advertising agencies and clients in both cities and throughout the UK.

1993 to 2007 Radio Clyde Glasgow 

2007 to today Freelance writer creative producer & lecturer
